Alan Wayne Hockenjos, died 1/10/19 at age 74 after a shocking and unexpected attack from esophageal cancer and its treatments. He now rests in the arms of the Beloved Jesus Christ.

His greatest pleasures in life were worshipping our Lord Jesus Christ, being with his family, caring for his wife’s organic garden and property, traveling and working on his restored Monte Carlo. He enjoyed observing and feeding his beautiful Pennsylvania birds, the visiting wild turkey families and he provided food and water for the daily Crow meetings in the front yard. He and his wife adopted 6 chickens, learned how to care for them and found that they provided love and comfort - “there are no small miracles”. He was a great lover of animals and practiced animal rescue, having had over 34 cats and dogs grace his home throughout the years. He could not tolerate animal abuse or cruelty of any kind.
