Obituary for Keith B Smith

Keith B Smith, 68, of Kunkletown passed away suddenly at home July 18. He was the loving husband of Vivian (Quick) Smith. They had been married 47 years.
Keith was born in East Stroudsburg Oct.8, 1950, the son of the late Bernard and Bella Jane (Kneebone) Smith.
Keith was a Union Electrician for over 35 years; he retired from East Stroudsburg University in 2016 and was a member of the IBEW Local # 102 in Easton and # 456 in Paterson NJ.
He was a volunteer at West End Ambulance Corp.in Effort for over 10 years and had become a Paramedic and worked for Medic 7 in Tannersville for over 10 years. He also served with Rural Metro at 911 in New York City.
Keith was a member of St. Matthews United Church of Christ in Kunkletown, the Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge # 325 in Stroudsburg and the Kunkletown Rod and Gun Club. He loved to hunt and fish.
In addition to his wife Vivian, he is survived by two sons: Colin Smith and his wife Cayle of Willard Missouri and Calvin Smith and his fiancée Bobbie Jo of Kunkletown; a brother Stefan Smith and a sister Gale Kichline, both of Easton. He was a loving grandpop to his 6 grandchildren; Wesley, Joel, Courtney, Jackson, Joran and Garrison.
Funeral Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday July 23rd at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. with the Rev.. Suzanne Brooks-Cope officiating. Interment will follow at St. Matthews Cemetery in Kunkletown. Viewing will he held Monday July 22 from 6 to 8 PM and Tuesday 10 to 11 AM at the Gower Funeral Home & Crematory Inc. 1426 Rt. 209 Gilbert.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his memory to Awsom Animals PO Box 13, Stroudsburg Pa. 18360.
