Obituary for Regina L. Llanes

Regina L. Llanes, age 74, of Saylorsburg, PA, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, January 7, 2019 at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital in Bethlehem, PA.
Regina was the loving wife of Armando "George" Llanes. They celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on November 18th.

She was born in Glendale, CA, on May 21, 1944, daughter of the late Carl and Leonides (Bayon) Bartosovsky.

Regina was a faithful Christian and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Hamilton Township, PA. As a youth, she trained as a classical guitarist. In her professional life, Regina worked in escrow and managed the real estate office of Century 21 in Long Beach, CA. Regina was generous and always willing to give to others; she was a regular contributor to Zion's Hope Ministries and to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

She loved her family deeply and through life's up and downs, joys and sorrows, laughter and tears, she was always there for those she loved. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband: Armand "George" of Saylorsburg; her children: Melodee Bochelen of Colorado Springs, CO, Frank Bayon and his wife Ani of Spring Hill, TN, Alisa Burleigh and her husband Mike of Marcellus, MI, Michael Llanes of Saylorsburg and Gabriela Llanes of Saylorsburg.

Regina was a loving grandmother to her 19 grandchildren: Taiz Bochelen, Carl Bochelen and his wife Tristina, Kim Bochelen, Brittany Fontana, Staci White and her husband Ray, Brianna Bochelen, Ellyzabeth Bochelen, Bethanny Bochelen, Joseph Bochelen, Dylan Bochelen, Cecilia Davlatov and her husband Ugi, Scott Bochelen, Joshua Bochelen, Julia Bochelen, Tanner Bochelen, Cadence Bochelen, Ashley Prestia, Sarah Anderson and her husband Mark and Ian Siddall and his wife Shelby. Regina is survived by 19 great grandchildren: Noah, Malachi, Kaemon, Izrial, Sincere, Selah, Kasia, Abel, Kian, Landon, Honour, Aniyah, Tristan, Sofia, Everett, Stella, Bentley, Jackson and Elijah.
She is also survived by a sister: Carole Bognar and her husband Julius of Woodland Hills, CA.

Regina was preceded in death by a son: Samuel Llanes.

Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 3 PM until 5 pm at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert, PA, with services, officiated by Pator Steve Leap, beginning at 5 PM. Cremation will follow the service.
