Obituary for William A. Calderon

William A. Calderon, age 67 of Polk Twp., Kunkletown passed away, Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at St. Luke's Hospital-Anderson Campus in Easton.
William was the loving husband of Mercedes (Trivett) Calderon. They celebrated their 42nd Wedding Anniversary on June 19, 2018.
He was born in Santruce, Puerto Rico on November 17, 1951, son of the late Jose and Iraida (Calderon) Calderon.
William worked in the Telephone industry for twenty years. He worked for Bell Telephone Company in both New Jersey and Florida as a fraud investigator and as a central office manager. He then joined Network Telephone Company as a training manager. After which he became a Palm Bay substitute teacher.

He served our country with dedication and courage in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of MENZA.
We have been blessed with the presence of William in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Mercedes of Kunkletown; his daughter: Jennifer Calderon of Las Vegas, NV; his father-in-law: Robert Trivett Sr. of Kunkletown; two brothers in law: Richard Lankford of Aspers and Robert Trivett Jr. and his wife Debbie of Saylorsburg; two grandsons: Nicholas
Calderon of Texas and Zachary Calderon of Florida; three nephews: Denis Bailey of Aspers; Joseph and Wallace Bailey of Palm Bay, FL.
He was preceded in death by his siblings: Idalia Schaeffer, Isabel Lankford and Joseph Calderon.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., Route 209, Gilbert, PA.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Monday, March 11, 2019 from 6-8 pm and Tuesday, March 12 from 9:30 until time of service at the funeral home.
William will be interred at 1:30 pm at Ft. Indiantown Gap National Veterans Cemetery in Annville with graveside prayer service and military honors.
